Olga is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales. A US and Polish national, she holds a BA in Jurisprudence and an MA (Oxon) from Oxford University.
Olga was previously a Senior Associate at Allen & Overy in the International Arbitration Group and a member of the Global Business and Human Rights Law practice. She also served as the Editor of the firm’s highly regarded flagship publication, “The Business and Human Rights Review”.
Olga advises and represents governments, international non-governmental organisations and multi-national corporations. She provides legal assistance on public international law and represents parties in investment treaty and international commercial arbitrations. Olga has extensive experience conducting arbitrations under all the major institutional rules, including the ICSID, ICC and LCIA Rules, and appearing as an advocate. She also has experience with transnational tort litigation before the English courts.
Olga’s experience in business and human rights law matters includes advising UK mining and fast-moving consumer goods companies with operations or supply chains in Africa on human rights issues, including child labour and use of force by security forces. Olga advises clients across a variety of industries, including mining, energy and power, commodities and finance.
Olga also delivers training and has spoken at numerous events including the East Africa Law Society Conference. In her pro bono practice, she has advised on matters before the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights and the Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.
